Hey, I’m Kelly Rae and I have a soft spot for real, messy, beautiful moments. I’m a lifestyle & empowerment photographer based in Northwest Arkansas, specializing in capturing women, teens, and families exactly as they are — playful, radiant, witchy, weird, shy, bold, or somewhere in between.
For me, this work is more than just pretty pictures — it’s about helping you see your own magic. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and safe in their own skin. No awkward poses, no forced smiles — just genuine connection, wild laughter, and those little moments you’ll want to remember forever.
Fun Facts About Me:

When I’m not shooting, you’ll either find me on my back patio, playing with my kids in the backyard, or daydreaming about my next themed limited edition session.

My Story.
I actually started my photography journey right here in Northwest Arkansas when I was just an 8th grader at Lincoln Junior High in 2010 because my childhood best friend (in pic) introduced me to a DSLR camera. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed! We took pics like this in my room every weekend when I got my camera lol!!
I officially launched my business in 2016 and started practicing every session under the sun: families, kids, seniors, couples, events — you name it, I probably shot it. I soaked up every bit of education I could through Pinterest and Facebook Groups, mentoring with other local photographers, taking a college course, and investing thousands (seriously, thousands) in online classes and workshops. Learning never stops for me — I still put money back into my craft every year because art is always evolving.
In 2017, I moved back to my hometown of Memphis to grow my family and focus on being a mama for a bit. I reopened my business in January 2021 with fresh eyes and a new passion — so from 2021 to 2024, I mainly focused on high school seniors, college grads, headshots, and boudoir.
But now? It’s 2025 and I’ve decided to stop listening to those in my industry who told me it was better to niche down than to offer everything. I love photographing seniors and mamas, besties and families — so why would I limit myself ? There are no rules in photography — that’s what makes it art.
I’m also proudly all-inclusive now — you’ll always get your full online gallery with no extra charges for “just a few more digitals.” You deserve every beautiful moment we capture — no exceptions.
I’m here to keep learning, keep growing, and keep giving my clients photos that make them feel like themselves.
