Sessions will take place indoors at my dad’s office/shop space in Centerton, off Highway 72 near Tater Black Road. I’m transforming part of the space into our colorful holiday setup! Your exact address and parking instructions will be sent after booking.
-
This set is best suited for small families and groups of up to six people total, with a maximum of four children per session.
-
Definitely not! These sessions are also perfect for children on their own, siblings, couples, or a solo session for yourself. Want a few festive headshots? Let’s do it!
Pets are welcome, too! Please keep pets leashed or in a carrier until it’s their turn.
-
Come dressed and ready for your session! I’ll have the holiday setup and props covered! A few things that may come in handy:
• A brush or comb for quick hair touch-ups
• Wipes and tissues for little faces
• Water and a small, mess-free snack for kiddos
• A favorite comfort item or toy to help your child feel at ease
• Treats and a leash or carrier if your pet is joining usYou’re welcome to bring a small sentimental item, like a special ornament or your child’s favorite stuffed animal. Just let me know beforehand so we can work it into your photographs!
Keep belongings light and plan on one outfit so we can spend your session making memories.
-
They don’t have to walk in ready to smile! I’ll use playful, interactive prompts and start with movement, cuddles, and candid moments to help them settle in before trying more posed photographs.
I’m also planning a little “Write Santa a Letter” station in the waiting area! Arriving 10 minutes early gives your kiddos a chance to get comfortable before we begin.
There’s no pressure for perfect behavior or a constant camera-ready smile. We’ll work with their personality and comfort level within your reserved session time.
-
You can expect your full edited gallery within 1–2 weeks of your session. I’m planning delivery ahead of Black Friday so you can take advantage of holiday card sales!
You’ll receive an email as soon as your photographs are ready to download. Please remember to allow additional time for your chosen printer’s production and shipping.
-
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early if you’re bringing children, so they have time to settle in and write Santa a letter! For sessions without children, arriving at least five minutes early is perfect.
Sessions are scheduled throughout the day, so arriving late may shorten your photography time. Extra time isn’t guaranteed, and your session will still need to end at its scheduled time to keep things running smoothly for the next guests.
-
Please stay home if you or anyone attending is sick, and contact me as soon as possible. I have little ones at home, too, and want to help keep every family visiting the set healthy!
If you need to miss your session because of illness, payments already made toward your holiday mini can be transferred as a credit toward an available Spring 2027 session. If the spring session you choose costs more, you’ll simply pay the difference. Please contact me before your appointment so we can arrange the transfer.
What to wear
Colorful & Playful
This one is my FAVE and I think will really bring this whole set together. Bring on the personality! Berry pink, cranberry, and soft blue look especially fun paired with cream or denim. Start with one colorful piece you love, then repeat one or two of its colors throughout everyone else’s outfits. Picture a pink sweater, a cranberry velvet dress, or playful tights with a coordinating hair bow. If someone wears a pattern, keep the other outfits a little simpler so your people and the festive set both have room to shine.
Cozy & Classic
Think soft knits, warm neutrals, and comfortable pieces with a little texture. Cream, oatmeal, chocolate brown, and denim create a cozy combination that lets your family stand out against the colorful holiday set. Try a chunky sweater with jeans, a corduroy skirt with tights, or a textured dress with simple boots. Mix lighter and darker shades across your group, and let everyone wear a different combination; the outfits should feel connected without being identical.
Holiday Fancy
For those who love an excuse to dress up, think velvet, flowy fabrics, polished layers, and a little sparkle. Burgundy, navy, champagne, and cream create a festive palette with plenty of room for individual style. Pair a velvet dress with tights, a button-down with trousers, or a pretty skirt with a soft sweater. Keep everyone at a similar level of dressiness, and choose pieces that still allow for sitting, snuggling, and a little silliness!
Holiday pajamas are absolutely welcome! For a relaxed, collected look, choose a shared color palette and mix different prints, solids, and textures. Think cranberry-and-cream stripes on one child, coordinating plaid on another, and a cream waffle-knit set or solid pajama top for a parent. Repeating the same shades helps everything feel connected without everyone wearing the exact same set. Choose patterns with similar-sized details, add a solid outfit to give the eye a break, and finish with clean cozy socks or simple slippers for that Christmas-morning feeling.
